CarmichaelUK is working with a large subcontractor on a piling and groundworks package as part of the HS2 project in West London who are looking for a Temporary Works Designer to join their team on a contract basis.
Successful candidates for this role will require extensive experience with Temporary Works Design, with structural, formwork and geotechnical interfaces.
This role falls within IR35
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing temporary work designs in accordance with project procedures
- Making sure that temporary works designs are properly implemented as they pertain to design
- Ensuring that the requirements laid out in the project's Design Management Plan are followed through and properly implemented
- Liaising and coordinating with teams across the project to facilitate any design checks required for your designs
Key requirements:
- HNC or higher in an Engineering related field
- Proven TW Design experience
- TWS and/or TWC tickets
- Up to date CSCS card
