A Tier 1 principle contractor with a full pipeline of work seeks to bolster their management team by employing a dynamic and successful Site Agent with a proven track record of delivering major civils projects to work on their HS2. You will ideally be a chartered engineer with a recognised body and based in the Birmingham area.
The role will initially be for 6 months, with the potential to be extended to at least 18 months for the right candidate.
Duties of a Site Agent include:
- Planning and programming of the works
- Traffic Modelling
- Reporting to Environmental agencies and the client
- IDCs and IDRs
- Advising on construction logistics for the design consultant
- Monitoring and implementing the financial controls and cost reports
- Liaise and chair client/project meetings
- Oversee daily administration, quality, audits
- Oversee the setting out and as well as the as-builts
- Implement company procedures and protocols
- Interpreting and implementing of the design
- Health and Safety compliance
Skills & Experience:
- A Degree, Bachelors, MSc or HND in Civil Engineering
- You will be currently working as a Agent
- Knowledge and experience of Roads, Drainage, Ducting and bulk earthworks
- Experience working for a main contractor
- CSCS qualification
- Proven track record
