Position: Site Agent
Location: Birmingham
A top tier main contractor is currently seeking an experienced Site Agent for a large £120M+ civil engineering project which is part of the of the M42 junction 6 upgrade. This prestigious contractor is currently working on various projects within the UK and holds a healthy order book for future projects.
Reporting directly to the Civils Project Manager, you will be directly responsible for the Structures element of the project.
- Managing the sub contracts, commercials, H&S of the civil packages of works
- Give guidance to engineers, and be able to write and facilitate Method Statements, Risk Assessments, ITPs and task briefs
- Manage both direct and sub contract staff
- Liaise consistently with client, stakeholders and sub contractors on site
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience working for main contractors on major highway projects and structures.
- Previously worked as a Site Agent, Senior Agent, Construction Manager, or Senior Sub
- Hold a valid CSCS Managerial card
- BSc level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HND.
- Relevant live motorway or highway experience
