Contract Agent Role - £450 - £550/Day PAYE Umbrella - 6 Months
Carmichael UK is currently looking for an experienced Agent or Sub Agent to join our client's team on the Salisbury Flood Defence Scheme. The successful candidate will show experience in Agent duties with particular expertise in either Flood Defences or Heavy Civils including surfacing and drainage.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 Years’ experience as an Agent/Sub Agent
- Strong working knowledge of Flood Defences or Heavy Civils (or both)
- Professionally qualified in either a relevant engineering or construction discipline
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to concurrently deliver multiple projects to time
- Must be capable of producing detailed technical and financial reports
- Highly competent in H&S legislation and regulations
- Strong Project Management skills
Responsibilities:
- Agent and Sub-Agent duties
- Take ownership of the entire life-cycle of the project, from initial design brief to completion
- Formulating and preparing fully-costed proposals and tender documents
- Monitoring changing requirements and influencing relevant stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects
- Lead regular construction progress meetings, producing monthly reports
- Liaise with sub-contractors, officials and statutory organisations
- Ensure technical, cost and programme control requirements are adhered to
- Provide compliance with H&S legislation as applicable.
