£475 - £525 /day Inside IR35
Carmichael UK are seeking an Agent / Senior Agent for a contractor at Sizewell C in Leiston. This role is site based 5 days a week. 
As agent you will be reporting to the Contracts manager and PM to deliver a successful project and maintain successful teams. 
To represent the company in the delivery of project or part of a large scheme. To receive instruction on behalf of the company and to issue instruction and provide direction in order to ensure the successful delivery of project assigned by Senior Management.
Provide operational support to specific tender as directed by the Tender Manager. Ensure full understanding of complete tender documentation including revisions. Provide programme support and written text, plans, risk assessments etc. required for tender submission. Participate in meetings, interviews etc with subcons, clients and stakeholders.

  3. build, develop, support and maintain the team
  4. build and maintain a good relationship with the client and all external parties
  5. Develop the tender programme into a construction programme (within 4 weeks of award) 
  6. Monitor progress with up to date programmes so that timely clear direction can be given to the team on critical construction/financial targets.
  7. Development, Management and Maintenance of Site Management Plan
  8. Identify and evaluate risks, determine and manage actions, maintain Risk Register
  9. Manage and control changes to scope, requirements, personnel etc.
  10. Monitor progress against cost plans, programmes and quality/environment plans
  11. Manage stakeholder engagement 
  12. Develop and protect subcontractor relationships 
  13. Manage the design
  14. Contribute to the recognition within the industry
  15. Prepare and present project reports
  16. Liaise with line management re: aprovals and decisions at key stages
Ensure works are completed Defect Free to minimise rework during Maintenance Period
Ensure all post completion paperwork – H&S Files, As-Builts etc are completed in timely manner
Ensure completion certificate is issued by client
Maintain relationship with customer to maximise work on work opportunities
Ensure project close out reviews and subcon feedback scores are carried out.

  • Knowledge of the requirements of CDM regulations
  • Ability to produce Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets,
  • Knowledge of Safety, Quality and Environmental issues
  • Experience in construction.
