A great opportunity has arisen to work with a tier 1 joint venture partner as an Agent on their a Smart Motorway project in the new year.
The project is long-term (4 years), and for the right candidate the role will likely run for a few years.
Your key activities will include:
Reporting directly to the Section Manager, you will be working as part of the verges team.
- Managing the sub contracts, commercials, H&S of the civil packages of works
- Give guidance to engineers, and be able to write and facilitate Method Statements, Risk Assessments, ITPs and task briefs
- Manage both direct and sub contract staff
- Liaise consistently with client, stakeholders and sub contractors on site
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience working for main contractors on major highway projects
- Previously worked as a Site Agent, Senior Agent, Construction Manager, or Senior Sub
- Hold a valid CSCS Managerial card
- BSc level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HND.
- Relevant live motorway or highway experience
