I am looking for a freelance Utilities Agent to join a utility contractor on a major rail infrastructure project in West London. You will be joining a growing team at the early stages of a multi-billion pound project.
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for a number of utility diversion packages between Euston and North Acton.
The job will involve;
- Managing the subcontracts, commercials, H&S of the utilities packages of works
- Give guidance to engineers, and be able to write and facilitate Method Statements, Risk Assessments, ITPs and task briefs
- Manage both direct and subcontract staff
- Liaise consistently with client, stakeholders and main contractors on site
The successful candidate will:
- Have strong experience in the utility sector
- Previously worked as a Site Agent, Senior Agent or Construction Manager
- Hold a valid CSCS Managerial card (Black or Gold)
- BSc level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HND/HNC
