I’m currently seeking to recruit a CPCS Appointed Person for a Technical Project based at Luton Airport. £250m rail/civils/tunnelling project. The duration is at least 6 months with a view to continue longer for the right person.
Requirements of the role:

The successful candidates must have good knowledge of LOLER and Lifting Operations

Able to produce site specific method statements and risk assessments, including site specific lifting plans.

Manage lifts and liaise closely with clients on site.

Manage the other AP’s on site

Willing to be flexible to meet the needs of the business and be able to work well as part of a team.

Planning and supervising lifting operations

Ensure safety and incident reporting procedures are followed
Essential Experience:

CPCS A61 Appointed Person (Blue Card)

LOLER Competent Person (Certificate of Competence OPITO)

ECITB Appointed Person – Appointed Person Moving Loads (Certificate of Training) and TAP01 Planning a Rigging Operation (Certificate of Achievement)
