A main Joint Venture on HS2 is seeking an Asset Technician to join them on a freelance basis for 6 months. This position is to start as soon as possible and will initially be working on a remote basis.
Description of Activities to be undertaken
- Use of software (Excel, A-Site, eB and ProjectWise) to populate and update metadata for drawings, geospatial information, documents and reports.
- Utilisation of automated tools to generate metadata, to inspect and check before processing to the client.
- Contribute to the delivery of asset information to the client, and assist subcontractors in providing relevant information in a timely manner.
- Provide support to create asset extents from CAD drawings and support the creation of asset attribute information.
- Assist the Information Management team on delivering an integrated data management strategy
Minimum Qualifications Needed for Role
- Experience with A-Site and ProjectWise
- Good Microsoft Excel understanding
- Understanding of attribute and geometric information relating to an asset
- Ability to understand work package workflows, deliverables and client requirements
This position will be paid on a PAYE basis.
