We have an amazing opportunity to work for Tier 1 contractors on one of the biggest projects in the UK for Archeologists.

Description of Activities to be undertaken

Archaeological scoping, preliminary design, preparing detailed design briefs and planning the works.

Check and analyze baseline results from Fusion AWH works, HS2 works, other EWC, and others

Review emerging scheme design from MWCC and others to understand impacts to AWH EMRs

Recommend new scope and report to the design manager

Review draft Project Plans and LS-WSIs and fieldwork reports for compliance against the HERDS and other HS2 Technical Standards

Keep accurate records for audit purposes by use of trackers and registers

Attend IDRs with HS2 and draft DRNs against the HERDS with a commercial and program awareness

Provide draft spatial data to inform design manager, and inform and update spatial data records manager (Andrew Goh)

Inform and liaise with stakeholder groups including LPA and HE and maintain stakeholder register of engagement

Present design progress to Fusion, other EWC, MWCC, HS2, and stakeholders

Report progress to WP manager for onward reporting to director and client level forums

Support development of graduate team members

Minimum Qualifications required

A degree in archaeology or associated subjects.

Relevant archaeological project design office experience.

GIS experience in particular (ArcGIS/QGIS essential).

MS Office and document management essential

Associate Level Membership of CifA – minimum.
