Description of Activities to be undertaken

Review traffic management plans for safety and compliance with current highways specifications. Ensure all works are planned and undertaken in compliance with the HS2 Act commitments and other relevant legislation.

Discuss traffic management plans with stakeholders, client and internal construction teams.

Sign off applications for submission to the client and to the highways authorities.

Attend and contribute to traffic liaison group meetings to discuss current and future works and their interface with other contractors.

Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, consent granting bodies, HS2, consultants and supply chain

Provide technical support to the Works Package Managers to identify and co-ordinate traffic management requirements for their packages

Manage and maintain the EWC Central Consents Register – co-ordinating and managing all required traffic & highway consents. Monitor and track Consents approvals process, ensuring the necessary consents are obtained in line with the programme to support the delivery of the works

Carry out ad hoc site inspections and audit regime on Consents requirements

Minimum Qualifications and experience Needed for Role

  • Knowledge of Street Works and ETON application process.
  • TSCO qualified.
  • 12D T7 qualified.
  • Excellent communication, personal planning and interpersonal skills
  • Microsoft Excel proficient

  • Working days: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri.
  • Working hours: 09:00 - 17:00 8hrs
  • Direction, supervision or control required: Yes, required
