An exciting opportunity has come up for an experienced Bid Writer to join the tender team for a major highways and tunnelling project in the West of England.
This is a major, complex infrastructure project involving bulk earthworks, tunnelling, highways and structures. This is a contract or fixed term position starting as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
• Review Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents in order to understand the technical requirements and define key deliverables
• Prepare and manage a tender programme and action plan
• Lead tender briefings and storyboard sessions with technical and operational staff
• Draft, edit and review the quality / technical components of tender submissions
• Coordinate input from subject matter experts and third parties
• Support senior management with tender presentations, negotiations and market engagement activities
• Support the wider bid team as required including technical input into Selection Questionnaires, production of case studies, capability statements and ongoing contributions to the company’s knowledge base
• Ensure all tenders are complete, compliant, professional and well presented
Requirements
- Experience tendering for large infrastructure projects.
- Degree, HND or equivalent in civil engineering or related field
