BID WRITER – Civils
A freelance opportunity exists with an international Civil Engineering, Piling and Geotechnical Contractor for an experienced Bid Writer. Your previous experience within the civil engineering contractor or consulting environment is sought after.
Your knowledge in the writing of high quality, winning submissions will add value to this small but highly skilled team. Working for this established international group, you will have extensive experience in preparing and completing PQQ’s, sourcing technical specifications and information whilst working with this team of technical professionals.
As a Bid Writer, your key responsibilities will include:
- The compilation of high quality winning submissions on an array of projects nationwide
- The continuous sourcing of technical information from within the business to be used in bids
- Completing prequalification questionnaires
- Interaction with technical experts to formulate award winning solutions
If you feel that your skills and experience are just right for this role, you will also need to demonstrate:
- A University degree
- Proven bid writing experience
- Proficient in MS Word and graphic software
- Extensive technical and engineering knowledge
- Superior written and verbal English skills
This is initially a 3 month contract but may be extended. Candidates who are seeking a perm opportunity or temp to perm opportunity, are also invited to apply.
