BID WRITER – Civils

We are delighted to have been asked to recruit for this position as this is a key role within this organisation and requires a dynamic and knowledgeable individual. If you are currently working as a Bid Writer and have experience within the Civils / Construction market and are looking to make your next career move, we would love to discuss this role with you in more detail.

Your previous experience in writing high quality, winning submissions will add value to this small but highly skilled team. Working for this established international group of Civil Engineering Consultants, you will have extensive experience in preparing and completing PQQ’s, sourcing technical specifications and information and working with the team of technical professionals.

As Bid Writer / Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • The compilation of high quality winning submissions on an array of projects nationwide
  • The continuous sourcing of technical information from within the business to be used in bids
  • Completing prequalification questionnaires
  • Interaction with technical experts to formulate award winning solutions

This is a key role within this organisation and your knowledge and experience will help guide and mentor the junior members of the team.

If you feel that your skills and experience are just right for this role, you will also need to demonstrate:

  • A University degree
  • Proven bid writing experience
  • Proficient in MS Word and graphic software
  • Extensive technical and engineering knowledge
  • Superior written and verbal English skills
