A freelance, inside IR35 opportunity, exists for a competent building Foreman with experience in the construction of structural steel projects like industrial warehouses and distribution facilities.
Reporting to the Site Manager your daily duties will include -
- Erecting of structural steel, cladding, Internal Fitout, testing and commissioning.
- Site inductions, daily toolbox talks and inspections
- Tasking of the gangs
- Overseeing lift operations
- Planning of resources (materials and equipment)
- Solving of technical issues and managing waste
- Managing health and safety including the reporting thereof
Requirements
- A construction trade or diploma is preferred
- 10 years experience constructing large industrial buildings/factories/warehouses.
- Proven management experience overseeing subcontractors and in house staff.
- Experience in the management of lift operations is sough after
- Decisive decision-making capability
- A quick-thinking problem solver
