A long-term, inside IR35, opportunity exists for an experienced CAD Technician on an iconic project for a Tier one principal Contractor. Your ability to effectively and efficiently extract and produce GA and 3D BIM models from the Consultants design to use for construction purposes, is sought after.
Requirements for this opportunity include –
- Highly experienced in the ability to produce GA and £d BIM models using MicroStation
- Ability to effectively extract and produce portions of interest in 3D
- Extensive experience working on civil engineering project – bridges, earthworks, retaining walls, drainage, rail
- An in-depth knowledge of the construction process
- Knowledge of CDM standards and specifications
- Preferably a civil engineering orientated qualification
- Completed projects for both civil engineering Contractors and Consulting Engineers
- Good knowledge of Drawing management systems
