Our client is looking for an experienced CAD/GIS Technician to join their team!
Purpose:
Responsible for supporting GIS systems, delivering GIS deliverables to the client & production of drawings & models utilising CAD.
Responsibilities:

Provide support to the team in delivering GIS requirements.

Delivering GIS requirements to the client.
-
Creating GIS data to be used across the project.
-
Creating GIS map outputs.
-
Managing data and ensuring accuracy of data.
-
Working closely with Designers/BIM & CAD team to covert data to GIS format.
-
Training Users on using GIS technology such as ArcGIS and QGIS.
-
Producing CAD drawings (2D) & models (3D) using software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D & Revit
-
Engage with users to help improve their work and deal with queries.

Represent the project to the wider core businesses at quarterly forums, share lessons learnt
Qualities & Experience:

Experience with ArcGIS Pro and data editing within the application
-
Experience creating map outputs
-
Experience creating and editing GIS data
-
Knowledge converting datasets from different coordination projections
-
Training users on using GIS technology
-
Experience with Autodesk suite of software (AutoCAD, Civil3D, Revit, Navisworks)

Experience producing 2D drawings & 3D models
-
Knowledge of BIM standards: ISO19650
-
Knowledge/Experience of CDE and information management
-
Ability to work to tight deadlines and under minimum supervision
