About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Contract Carpenter / Joiner to join our team for various projects based in London and the South East. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and joinery, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality workmanship on a range of construction and refurbishment projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform carpentry and joinery tasks including shuttering, framework construction, and installation of walls and columns.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate execution of work.
- Utilize hand and power tools effectively and safely.
- Collaborate with other trades and site teams to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter / Joiner, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Ability to handle all aspects of carpentry and joinery work, including shuttering and framework.
- Excellent knowledge of building regulations and safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications and trade certifications are preferred.
