A long term opportunity, inside IR35 exists for an experienced CEM on an iconic infrastructure project. Your knowledge and understanding of civil engineering design and construct technicalities coupled with previous experience as a CEM or Senior civils CRE within the railway construction industry, is sought after.
Your duties will include –
- Overall responsibility to guide the team of CREs.
- Managing the engineering, design and construction methodologies and procedures
- To be the professional and technical engineering lead
- To conduct design and technical reviews and to approve thereof.
- Offer technical and engineering input at client/designer/contractor meetings.
- To select and mentor competent engineering staff capable of functioning to the highest of standards.
- To ensure the safety and Quality standards and implemented and maintained.
Requirements for this post include –
- Previous experience as a CEM or Senior civils CRE within the UK rail sector for a tier one civil engineering principal Contractor.
- BSc/MSc or equivalent in Civil Engineering. Professional registration advantageous.
- Confident in verbal and written communications
- A above average knowledge of design to construct process
- Proven ability in the management of a team of highly technical and competent Engineers
- Current of recent CRE/CEM civils network rail accreditation
- PTS
