An excellent inside IR35 or fix-term-contract opportunity exists for a Project Quantity Surveyor with change control experience managing the information flow for the change process including quantifying and rating up the works for submission to the client. This role has little to no subcontractor management. It would suit a Quantity Surveyor who enjoys managing a process thoroughly.
Duties will include –
- Managing the whole administration process of any changes from client to supply chain
- Obtaining and recording changes received by the client
- Releasing info to the supply chain for pricing
- Measuring, negotiating, costing and producing rates
- Identify and highlight risks and blockers
- Discussing and agreeing changes with the management team
- Submitting the complete effect of the changes to the client
Requirements for this post include –
- Proven experience completing industrial type design and build project
- Exceptional constructability knowledge and experience
- Commercially astute
- Previous Change Control administration experience would be advantageous
- Skills include to be meticulous, pay attention to detail, organised and follow though
