Job Summary:
The Commercial Manager will be responsible for driving the commercial strategy and ensuring the commercial success of this construction project in Scotland. This role involves overseeing the commercial operations of this project. Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth.
- Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development, etc.).

- Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Negotiate and manage client contracts ensuring compliance and profitability.
- Address customer needs and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the market.
- Lead the business development initiatives and oversee the development of proposals, presentations, and pitches.
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics.

- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Conduct risk management and oversee financial performance to ensure targets are met.
- Optimize the financial performance of the business unit.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional qualification is preferred.

- Proven experience as a Commercial Manager in the construction / engineering industry
- Extensive experience in sales, marketing, and business development.
- Experience in the Scottish market is highly desirable.
