An excellent, inside IR 35, freelance opportunity exist for EC&I Commissioning Engineers with solid experience in nuclear commissioning.
Duties include -
- Carry out vendor testing witnessing duties at works test.
- Preparation of plant commissioning test specifications
- Early inspection of site installation to facilitate system handovers
- Execution of testing activities throughout IPC commissioning phase
- Identification of faults and ability to propose and implement solutions
- Organisation of Commissioning Technicians and support resources
- Initiation and implementation of FOBs
- Validation of Working Level Instructions
- Application and removal of Temporary Commissioning Aids
Requirements for this post include:
- Nuclear EC&I systems commissioning
- Minimum - HNC/HND in Engineering related subject
- Experience in nuclear commissioning
- Project management knowledge, preferably APM member
- Calculation production using Excel
- Ability to obtain BPSS is essential
