Carmichael are seeking a Consents Engineer to join the team based in West London to work on a billion-pound station upgrade.
The ideal candidate will have Utilities experience.
Duties
Ensure Commitments Compliance Plan provides current approach to U&A management
Populate and regularly issue Commitment Compliance Plan Baseline Register with relevant evidence for U&A compliance
Attend HS2 monthly Baseline Review meeting
Attend monthly HS2 U&A Compliance Group meeting
Provide U&A input during subcontract Package procurement
Attend and provide U&A input during Works Package delivery meetings
Engagement with Subcontractors to ensure operationally comply with U&As
Review Commitment Compliance Plan Baseline Register for compliance
Works Package completion certification for U&As
Discharge of U&As back to HS2 once completed
Management of Land related Consents issues and associated handback activities
Work collaboratively across the IPT to improve the management of U&A compliance
Exposure to some delivery subcontracts to get involved in on-site engineering
Person Specification
Knowledge of construction industry and its activities
Capable of providing technical assistance within an Integrated Project Team
Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Engineering or technical ability
Able to learn new concepts
