CarmichaelUK are currently searching for a Construction Manager to work for one of our clients operating mainly within the rail sector. This is an ongoing freelance position within growing company who are consistently winning critical packages of work from clients such as Network Rail and Thames Water. The client is flexible on location as the role will require travel between sites in Manchester and the South East (Kent/Sussex).
You will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the delivery of multiple projects running concurrently
- Line management of 2-3 works managers
- Reporting on progress to the wider senior leadership team
- Checking and reviewing RAMs & WPPs
- Cost forecasting and resource planning
Requirements for the role:
- HND or higher in Civil Engineering or related subject
- Valid CSCS card
- Experience working within a rail environment
- Driving license
