CarmichaelUK are looking for a Construction Manager to work with one of our tier 1 clients on a highway structures project in Central London. Our client has been contracted to carry out the replacement of a roller joint and is in need of a team to work with their subcontractor on the delivery of the works. The project involved a lot of traffic management, structural works and is being worked to a tight programme. The project is running across a 7 day programme with one team working Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday Sunday on days and one team working Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. Our client is happy to look at both perm and freelance applicants, with work commencing 1st October and running through until July '22.
You will be responsible for:
- Overall management of construction elements of the project
- Ensuring work is being carried out line with scope
- Ensuring build quality
- Internal and external stakeholder management
We are looking for someone who has:
- Black CSCS card
- SMSTS
- Experience working with a tier 1 contractor
- Experience delivering projects on behalf of TfL
- Structures experience
