An immediate start freelance opportunity, inside IR35, exists for a Construction Manager with a track record of delivering rail infrastructure projects countrywide for tier one or principal Contractors. Proven hands-on experience delivering rail infrastructure projects from beginning to end especially the civil engineering aspects of track, OLE and signaling is sought after.
Rates will be negotiated based on experience.
Duties will include –
- Creating and implementing WPP, TBS, risk assessments and site permits
- Monitoring and reporting on costs and progress
- Producing the quality documentation and manage all risks.
- Management of subcontractors and their delivery rate
- Attending site meetings
- Ensuring and implementing health and safety
Requirements for this opportunity include –
- Extensive experience delivering rail infrastructure projects for a principal Contractor.
- Demonstrable civil engineering construction ability and know-how
- Knowledgeable on rail standards and regulations
- Excellent motivational and communication skills
- CSCS, SMSTS/SSTS and First Aid
