Carmichael are recruiting on behalf of a Main contractor delivering a local roads scheme, 1 bospoke paving scheme and 1 conversion of a roundabout to a cycleway.
Contract Basis:
PAYE/Umbrella - Day/hour Rate
Duration: on going
Start date: start of October
Location: Windsor
Your duties will include
- Lead the delivery of the project inclusive of site control including setting KPIs
- Managing any Sub-Contractors and site tea
- Manage the interaction with all stakeholders e.g. client and designers
- Management and guiding of site delivery team
- Ensure that all the works are constructed as per spec and design
- Cost forecasting and resource planning
- Oversee all safety, RAMS, permits and documentation requirements
- Report to and attend executive meetings
- Be responsible for the constructability, programming and quality control
The requirements include –
- Proven ability in a similar post as a Construction Manager
- Extensive highway construction knowledge and experience in the UK
- Proven collaboration, leadership, negotiation and management skills
- Contract strategy knowledge and commercially astute
- A Civil Engineering Degree or Diploma is preferable
