Construction Manager - Highways

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Construction Manager specializing in highways with a leading tier one principal contractor. We are seeking candidates with a strong track record of successfully delivering high-profile highway projects. Site Agents or Senior Site Agents looking to advance their careers are also encouraged to apply.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead project delivery, reporting directly to the Directors.
• Create the constructability programme in collaboration with planning professionals.
• Oversee commercial success through detailed cost reporting.
• Manage plant materials and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery.
• Guide, mentor, and oversee the delivery team.
• Engage with clients, designers, and service providers to manage risks.
• Ensure a safe and productive working environment.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience as a Construction Manager or Senior/Site Agent on UK highway projects.
• Previous Smart Motorway experience is advantageous.
• Tertiary civil engineering qualification and professional Project Management training.
• Strong management and communication skills.
• Commercially astute with excellent client engagement skills.

Site based full time. 

Salary up to 75k + package
