International multidisciplinary principal Contractor with a successful track record of delivering high class projects for esteemed clients countrywide seeks to employ a competent and experienced Construction Manager to manage subcontractors and in house staff in the delivery of construction projects in Lancashire.
Construction Manager Duties will include the following –
- Understand and communicate project objectives to the site teams
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance to the project specifications and designs
- Manage in-house staff as well as subcontractors
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance to company H&S standards
- Conduct daily planning in conjunction with the project programme
- Produce and manage site reports, instructions, site diary and quality checks
Requirements for the Construction Manager include
- A degree/diploma in Construction Management or similar
- Extensive experience on large building construction projects within the UK
- Principal contractor experience as a Construction Manager on projects including shopping centers, hospitals, airports, student accommodation etc.
- Experience on live refurbishment projects advantageous
- CSCS, First Aid
