Construction Manager - Piling Specialist
Location: Brisbane
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager with specialized expertise in piling within the field of civil engineering. The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing and managing all aspects of piling work for our construction projects. Ideally you would have previously worked for a piling contractor.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of piling work, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, architects, and subcontractors.
- Lead and motivate construction teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Address and resolve construction-related issues promptly to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering,
- Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager with a focus on piling projects.
- In-depth knowledge of piling methods, foundation design, and testing techniques.
- Strong understanding of construction regulations and permitting processes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to adapt to changing project scopes and timelines.
