Consultant's Site Representative - Highways
Professional International Irish Consulting Engineers seek to employ a Consultant’s Site Representative for a minimum fixed term contract of 18 months on a highways project in Kilcullen, Ireland. You will be the senior lead for the Consultant's team and report to the client’s representative on a PPP project.
Your duties will include the following –
- Collaborative management of the consultant’s team which includes Senior Resident Engineers, Resident Engineers, Assistant Resident Engineer and Clerk of Works.
- Continuous interaction and liaison with the client’s/Authority Representative
- Continuous interaction and reporting to the Project Directors and leadership team
- Chairing and management of client/contractor meetings
- Resolve technical, administrative and commercial issues
- Ensure that Health and Safety are enforced across the project
The requirement for this post includes –
- Preferable a Chartered Civil Engineer or similar professional qualification
- Extensive continuous Project Management experience as a Senior Resident or Consultant’s Representative on large projects
- Extensive knowledge of the highways and building code specification and documentation
- Possess solid civil engineering material control skills
- Demonstrate management and leadership qualities.
