Carmichael UK are seeking a Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE-C) to join the HS2 project at Old Oak Common.
Reporting to the project manager, the CREC will interface with designers, subcontractors and clients daily. Your responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking the role as CRE or within a Rail, Civil Engineering Groundworks and Structures environment
- Mentoring Project and Assistant Engineers
- Managing direct and subcontract works
- Ensuring the highest standards of Health & Safety are maintained on site
- Managing the integration of the Civils scope of work from the design into the construction stage and managing the interfaces with other disciplines on the project
- Writing tender scope, technical specifications for Civils engineering works
- Providing support to the commercial team in managing costs and maximising engineering efficiencies
About you
- Experience working on civils projects ideally in a Rail environment
- MEng/BEng/Foundation Degree/BTEC/Degree in Civil Engineering
- CSCS
Permanent employment is preference for our client but contracting options are possible (inside IR35)
