Carmichael UK is recruiting on behalf of a well-established geotechnical specialist contractor that is continuing to grow across the UK. Due to a strong order book, they are seeking an experienced Contracts Engineer / Project Manager to deliver projects predominantly across Scotland and the North of England.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a technically strong business working on a diverse portfolio of ground engineering projects.
The Role
As Contracts Engineer / Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple geotechnical schemes, from pre-construction through to completion. Key responsibilities include:

Managing contracts, programmes, costs, and resources

Overseeing site teams and specialist subcontractors

Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget

Liaising with clients, designers, and internal stakeholders
-
Maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and commercial control
About You
To be considered for this role, you must have:
-
Proven experience in piling and/or grouting works
-
Background as a Contracts Engineer, Project Manager, or similar role
-
Strong understanding of geotechnical and ground engineering operations
-
Excellent commercial, organisational, and communication skills
-
Willingness to travel across Scotland and the North of England
