Cost Administrator

I am recruiting for a Cost Administrator to work on a Smart Motorway Scheme for the next 2 years in Southampton.

It's a great opportunity to work for a tier 1 Joint Venture for a sustained period.

The role will be contract based and will be to assist the Quantity Surveyors with Cost Administration.

The majority of the role will involve clearing invoices, dealing with GRN notes and be happy to assist the team with ad hoc admin duties. 

Commercial Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the commercial team
  • Addressing invoices on in house system.
  • Receive the GRN (goods receives note) or delivery note from project team and then add the GRN to the system
  • Raise small orders
  • Weekly reporting
  • Ad hoc administration duties to support the QS'

Commercial Administrator Requirements:

  • Past experience working in a commercial administrator role
  • Past construction Experience is preferred.
  • Past Experience using Management Software is preferable
  • Be technically strong and proficient user of Microsoft Office Packages inc Excel
