CRE Senior Engineer – Rail Projects

We’re looking for an experienced Client Representative Engineer (CRE) / Senior Engineer to join a portfolio of high-profile rail infrastructure projects across Kent, Surrey, and Sussex.
The Role:

Act as the Client Representative on-site, ensuring works meet programme, cost, and quality requirements

Monitor contractor performance and compliance with specifications

Oversee safety, quality, and environmental standards on live rail projects

Lead technical reporting, risk management, and stakeholder liaison

Provide guidance and support to junior engineers
You Will Have:
-
Proven experience as a CRE and Senior Engineer in civils projects

Strong knowledge of NR standards, track works, civils, or signalling projects
-
Ability to work across multiple sites in Kent, Surrey & Sussex

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Based in Blackfriars with the ability to travel to site as required
Duration: Long-term opportunities
Rate / Salary: Umbrella PAYE
