CarmichaelUK are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to work with one of our tier 1 clients during an incredibly busy period for the team. Our client manages maintenance and road upgrade work on behalf of East Sussex Highways and have are responsible for maintaining working peaceful relationships with local stakeholders and residents.

The office is situated in Ringmer, East Sussex so we need someone who can easily commute there on a daily basis. We are looking for someone to start ASAP with the requirement running through until the start of September.

You will be responsible for:

- Providing a polite and professional response to customer enquiries by telephone, email and letter. Where possible take ownership of outstanding queries through to resolution within agreed timescales and maintain a complete record of all customer contact onto agreed systems

- Responding to customer complaints with the aim to resolve at first contact where possible. Where this is not possible, escalate as appropriate

- Undertaking regular training to ensure that the information provided to customers is up to date and accurate

- Undertaking general office support and administrative functions appropriate to the role.

- Understanding and contributing to the development and delivery of personal and team objectives, including implementing improvements in office procedures and ways of working

We are looking for someone who:

- Has previous experience as a receptionist, office manager, administrator or customer service assistant
