One of the largest measurement survey companies in the UK is currently looking for a Monitoring Surveyor/ Data Manager to join their teams in Birmingham.
The role will require you to:
•Supervise of all site monitoring information.
•Assist Surveyors and Project Managers with managing site information and monitoring data.
•Take responsibility for data quality and correctness, in the context of understanding the project and relating the measurements to construction progress. Check processed data is correct and if the information is accurate.
•Immediately report to the PM any suspicion of potential risk or non-conformance in the monitoring data.
•Configure and maintain various monitoring sensors.
•Optimise and maintain the monitoring database and manage the site database and software suite in liaison with IT Support.
•Assist the Project Manager to ensure the monitoring software is presented to and used by the client and other stakeholders in the most suitable way to meet the project requirements and provide added value to the project.
•Ensure the confidentiality of project information by respecting Company policies.
•Check and maintain on a daily basis the various projects monitoring systems and databases in order to offer the client the expected availability and measurement performance.
•Set up and maintain automated backup of the site files.
•Participate in the design and production of reports during the different phases of the project (installation, baseline, maintenance, monitoring, final and decommissioning) in liaison with the Project Manager
•Prepare for and attend internal and external meetings.
•Promote Performance culture, follow up KPIs and report to the PM.
