Here we have an exciting opportunity for a Design Co-ordinator in Central London
As Design Co-ordinator you will be the go between, between the design consultants and site. Your background will be in architectural and landscaping.
Duties include -
- The Design co-ordinator will identify and apply appropriate methodologies and standards to produce effective and innovative solutions for the architectural and landscaping packages on site. You will get the opportunity to prepare design calculations, drawings and tender/contract documents and prepare land plans and schedules for access as required
- Contribute to compliance with the Quality Management Systems including site specific audits.
- Production of designs that comply with relevant health and safety legislation, particularly the CDM Regulations.
- Adhere to Health and Safety requirements within the workplace
- Assist in the development of colleagues including the check and challenge of scheme designs.
- Contribute to the monthly reporting of progress to clients including review of completion against planned programme
Requirements for this position -
- Design experience working architectural and landscaping packages
- Prior experience working on A+L packages
- BEng in Civil Engineering with appropriate experience
- IEng with relevant institution (ICE, CIWEM, CIHT) is desirable
- Good communication skills, both written and verbally
- Knowledge of the following software: AutoCAD, Civils 3D, AECOsim, FEH, MS Office
