Carmichael UK are looking for a Design Engineer on behalf of a Tier 1 contractor.
Responsibilities:
To produce comprehensive and accurate drainage designs, reports and documentation in accordance with the scheme brief and in line with the time and budgetary allocations. To contribute to the overall delivery of the workload of the Drainage team within the Design Services office including feasibility reports and design reviews of third-party designs.
Design experience working on Highways England and or Local Authority contracts dealing with highways maintenance / new build schemes. Ability to communicate well in the written and spoken word. Computer literate with competent ability and knowledge of MS Office Suite.
Required Certification/ Skills:
- Fit4Work
- AutoCAD, Civils 3D
- Microdrainage
- FEH
- Flow modelling experience
- Microsoft word/project/excel
- BEng in Civil Engineering with appropriate experience for the role.
- IEng with appropriate Institution (ICE, CIWEM, CIHT) desirable.
