Development Coordinator - House Build

A very well establish house builder are currently seeking an experienced Development Coordinator to join the team.


You will be responsible to co-ordinate the design and technical processes. Ensure the company carries out its contractual responsibilities for co-ordination of construction details.  Manage flow of design information.  Manage design input of specialist subcontractors


Responsible for

  • Providing technical input to project appraisal/tendering processes
  • Attend Contract Launch meeting to agree accountabilities
  • Co-ordinate pre-start development process
  • Chair regular pre-start and design team meetings
  • Attending client liaison meetings throughout pre-start process
  • Process design information and maintain drawing registers
  • Provide technical advice as necessary
  • Review design and specifications for alternatives to provide added value
  • Monitor release of design information against agreed programme
  • Manage design interface between packages
  • Co-ordinate production of post-completion technical information


The person

  • Must be educated to HNC/ONC or equivalent in architectural, design or construction-related subject.
  • Must have experience in the planning process
  • Knowledge of building regulations
  • Secured by design
  • Possess a “can do attitude”
  • Driven and assertive
