Document Controller - Cheshire

We are looking for a freelance or perm Document Controller to join a team working on a highways project in Cheshire. This is a long term project to start in February. 

Your document Controller duties will include -

  • coordinating with different departments within the company and ensuring that documents are kept in the right location and are accessible to all internal services
  • Work to site and head office deadlines, ensuring that all departments are following the same procedures as requested by head office
  • Ensuring all documents are in the right location and that they are categorised accordingly
  • Checking and approving documents before they are filed
  • Liaising internally and externally to ensure that documents contain correct and understandable information with regards to their categorisation


  • Will have experience as Document Controller in the UK with a principle Contractor
  • Will have excellent IT skills and experienced in the use of Viewpoint 4 projects
  • Will have excellent written and spoken communication abilities
  • Will be well organised, reliable and honest
  • Will be accurate and will have high attention to details
