CarmichaelUK are working with a Tier 1 Main Contractor who are looking for an Electrical Engineer to look after the supervision of maintenance and fault analysis of the electrical building operations on an MoD project in Central London.
Role:
- Review and analysis of building operations via routine checks
- Focus on health and status of all building systems
- Issue and planning of PPM and reactive tasks
- Additional requests and project tasks
- Propose amendments for efficiencies
- 5 Direct reports
- Rotationally deputise for the Operations Manager
- Reporting on the sites resilience systems
- Review of Sub Contractor quality
- Hold or obtain HV / LV Approved Person Status
- Clearance level to DV Strap
- Management of team and individual H & S as per client processes
Skills and experience:
- Qualified to the latest edition of BS 7671
- Must hold 2391 or equivalent (electrical test, inspection and verification)
- Minimum level 2 certificate (ONC, City & Guilds or equivalent) in electrical/electronic engineering
- Indentured apprenticeship
- Minimum 7 years working in the building services industry post apprenticeship
- Proven track record of problem solving
- Electrical / controls bias but understanding of mechanical systems and fabric craft
- Reporting on engineering issues with resolve options
