Carmichael are recruiting for Electrical Engineers, with demonstrable experience managing the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) aspects of complex multi-disciplinary process projects.
Experience across EPC must be balanced in order that the challenges associated with successful delivery of all phases of projects are appreciated equally – this is a role that starts post feasibility through to commencement of construction on site.
Responsibilties
- Review consultant's designs
- Develop scope of works, send out enquiries, commercial and technical bid analysis,
- Placement of subcontract, Manage subcontract design programme and review design from subcontractors
- Ensuring your work is undertaken safely in accordance with Company Procedures, specifications, and good working practices
- Ensuring the smooth and efficient co-ordination of all electrical design activities on allocated Nitrate reduction schemes
- Reporting of electrical design activities and progress to the relevant C&DL, MEICA & Commissioning Manager and Area MEICA Managers
- Provide subcontract management support during the scheme close out phase
- Technical input, review and selection of subcontract tenders, supplier specification and scope of works
- Coordinate, review and monitor design deliverables such as Schedules, Specifications & Drawings and procurement deliverables
- Assist in the review of design deliverables, including FDS, equipment and instrument lists, P&IDs, control philosophy and telemetry requirements
Requirements
- HNC/HND/Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
- Demonstrable experience managing the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) aspects of complex multi-disciplinary process projects.
- Memeber of a relevant proessional body (IET)
- JIB (ECS) Graded Electrical Technician
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Ltd
- BS7671: 2018 (2022) Wiring Regulations
- City & Guilds 2391 - Inspection & Testing
- Severn Trent Contractor Electrical Snr Authorised Person Certification would be beneficial
