We are seeking an Engineering Surveyor for a short-term infrastructure project involving the construction of a bell mouth and haul road near Swaffham.
This role requires expertise in GPS surveying and the ability to connect and manage GPS data with a dozer, expected to be running a Leica machine control system.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out engineering surveys and set out for the bell mouth and haul road construction

Configure and manage GPS systems, including integration with machine control (dozer)

Work closely with plant operators and site management to ensure precision and alignment with design

Provide accurate as-built data and progress reports

Support occasional night shifts if required
Requirements:

Proven experience as an Engineering Surveyor on heavy civils or earthworks projects

Competent in using GPS systems (Leica preferred; Trimble/Topcon also considered)

Able to set up and link GPS with machine control systems (e.g. dozers)

Ideally has own GPS equipment (not essential — can be supplied)

Valid CSCS card and relevant engineering/surveying qualifications

Strong understanding of setting out, data handling, and site workflows
