CarmichaelUK are looking for an Engineering Surveyor to work with one of our clients who provide engineering services to projects in the Essex/Suffolk/Norfolk areas. We are looking for someone who can cover multiple sites in the Suffolk and Essex areas, ideally someone based close to Felixstowe. There is a mileage allowance for work related travel and full coverage of mileage when travelling between sites. We are looking for someone to start within the next couple of weeks, with the contract being ongoing with a minimum length of 3 months.
You will be responsible for:
- Self-management of workload
- Setting out for groundworks including; adoptable highways, adoptable drainage and housing developments
- Establishing site control
- Conducting surveys including volumetrics and asbuilts, as well as presenting survey data in AutoCAD
We are looking for someone who has:
- Valid CSCS card
- Access to won kit including total station, GNSS Rover, laptop with AutoCAD
- Access to own vehicle
- Experience setting out and surveying groundworks
- Willing to work under own control
