We are recruiting for an amazing opportunity for a committed and dedicated Land surveyors for one of the most exciting infrastructure projects in the UK. Hinckley Point C will be the first nuclear energy plant built in the UK for over 30 years and you could be part of the team, which delivers this innovative energy project. As a Land Survey, your duties will include:
- Survey instrument site check and adjust
- Ad-hoc setting out for site team/subcontractors
- Setting out checks and calculations for site engineer(s) including pre-pour QA / ITP sign-off
- Ad-hoc asbuilt, laser scans and topographic survey requests
- Ability to mentor other staff in the department i.e. survey assistants
- Competent and up to speed with the latest Leica and Trimble equipment.
- Produce good quality QA records for all surveying work
- Process and present topographical surveys
- Carry out and present as-built surveys
Your profile:
- Expertise of working on big scale civil projects is essential for this role.
- Demonstrable experience of using Lecia GPS and Total Station.
- Knowledge and understanding of CAD programs.
- Qualifications in Surveying or Geomatics would be of benefit.
- The ability to work well as a team.
- Track record of success and completion whilst working on projects.
