Within this role you will have a good general understanding of working on high speed roads and civils works.
As the Engineering Surveyor you will be responsible for engineering surveys and setting out on drainage, kerbs, roads construction elements and topographical surveys.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities – not limited to;
- Some setting out according to client and company standards and programme requirements
- Monitoring the quality checks
- Permits
- Diary/Records
- Creating as-built surveys of work
- Reporting into and assisting a Site Agent
- Setting out and level control onsite
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
- Strong background within Highways
- Solid recent new roads/major roads construction experience
- CSCS Card
- In depth experience of Highway/ Engineering Design and design standards
- Previous experience in setting out and level control onsite
- Ability to read plans and drawings
- Excellent IT skills
