A freelance opportunity exist on a smart motorway project in Manchester for an Engineering Surveyor to assist in the planning and management of all survey activities on this project. Your previous experience on smart motorway/managed motorway projects will be a definite advantage.
Your duties will include –
- Collaboration with the Design Team, BIM Management and Engineers on survey technicalities
- Oversee the site setting out team
- Data control and management of as builts
- Preparation of monitoring reports
- All other duties as instructed by the Survey Manager
The requirement for this post includes the following –
- A tertiary qualification in Survey or similar
- Extensive previous hands-on survey experience preferably on large roads projects for tier one contractors
- In depth knowledge of survey principals
- Solid knowledge of highway roads and drainage
- AutoCad
- CSCS
