Carmichael have a requirement for experienced Environmental Consents Coordinators within both our Delivery and our Design Teams. The ideal candidate will need to manage the environmental consenting regime for all works on the project including works to listed buildings under Schedule 18, Schedule 33 Part 4 & Part 5 for water-related consents, waste and noise consents and a large number of ecology consents
In this role you will be ensuring compliance with legislation,Technical Standards and industry best practice. You will identify, develop and manage consents within your assigned section.
We expect you to ensure that consents are packaged up properly that are created by Designers (permanent and temporary works) and are of sufficient quality to be submitted to the Consent Granting Bodies (CGBs). The role will require you to assist the Environmental Section Manager in establishing an approach to consenting which is consistent route wide (C23).
You'll establish strong relationships with the Design Team, Delivery Team and CGBs. As well as build strong interfaces with relevant team members, the Early Works Contractor, and the Permanent Works Consent team.
We expect you to work in conjunction with the Planning teams and Design Delivery teams to follow a consents schedule, regularly reporting progress, both for internal and external stakeholders. Ensuring that the dates required to develop, package, consult on, and submit consents are built in to the design and delivery programmes.
