As an Estimator your responsibilities include:
- Liaising with prospective clients to secure tenders
- Completion of PQQs
- Production of bills of quantity from drawings & specifications
- Securing material and specialist sub-contractor quotations
- Formulating tender price and completing submission
- Tender stage negotiation
An ideal Estimator will hold the following skills and experiences:
- You will have experience pricing hard landscaping and groundworks tenders
- You will be used to reading and interpreting specifications and drawings
- You will be commercially astute and understand schedules and rates
- You will have excellent attention to detail and technical knowledge
- You will have the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively
- You will have strong excel and maths skills
- You will definitely be a self-motivated and committed team player with a desire to achieve great things for yourself and the business.
- You will hold a relevant qualification alongside industry experience
